It amazes me that people (including web designers) will go to a lot of trouble putting a professinal web site together and then they forget to proof read it!
I came across the Irish Webmaster Forum recently and surfed my way to a ‘noobie’ web designer in Galway. His site Forbairt Media looks impressive but it appears that the designer/owner has a ‘flare’ rather than a ‘flair’ for design. I sincerely hope he has ….. because his ‘flare’ for spelling isn’t the best.
I must compliment his choice of business name ….. Forbairt = Development in Irish ….. Forbairt Media …. a very good name with a very good Irish connection.
An aside note …. I reckon the word ‘receive’ is the most mis-spelt word on the internet. As soon as I see ‘recieve’ I lose (another word that gets the ‘loose’ spelling) interest in what I’m reading.
Bad spelling on a site which gives the impression that its mother tongue is English = bad service = bad business for me so I move on.
…. If you see a spelling mistake on this blog …. good for you …. in my defence ….. this blog is just a listing of my personal ramblings as I stumble through the net ….. I take a lot more care when it’s a business/cash promoting site.
So …. the moral of my story ….. if you want your business site(s) to be taken seriously ….. get the spelling ‘rite’ or you willn’t get annie kustomers to buy your stuf.
I hope you recive my posting in good will! ![]()

My NippyZip site is doing extremely well. It’s a custom made site and allows users to zip and send their files online.
It demands no input on my behalf and it is growing in popularity every day.
Well done NippyZip! ![]()

I’ve been busy working on some websites …. I am designing/coding/making about 5 sites at the same time.
Unfortunately I’m a stickler when it comes to design etc. so every detail is taking time to do.
Image mapping is where I’m doing at the moment.
So ….. normal service will be resumed shortly! ![]()

I wrote about Kenneth Parris of weslicetomatoes previously.
Another few weeks have passed by and no money …
So Kenneth Parris …. You are a CONMAN! His business weslicetomatoes is a front for a conman.
He never had any intention of paying me back.
All would be customers of weslicetomatoes …. avoid him like the plague. Don’t get weslicetomatoes to do your coding or design.
He hasn’t a clue about what he is doing and he is a total scam artist.
weslicetomatoes …. synonomous with the word CONMAN!

A great online tool for encrypting your email address on your website’s contact page.
It is probably only one step ahead of the Spambots but it certainly can’t hurt to use it.
You’ll find it here!

Normally, if you want to have professional designers custom build a site for you, you must be prepared to pay out at least a few hundred dollars.
Here are some ways of getting that site cheaper:
It is a rip off to get companies to design websites for you. Have you ever seen those advertisements in newspaper classified ad sections that offer a 5-page website at between $500 and $1000? These companies are established companies with physical locations and therefore they have to increase the amount they charge to pay off some overheads: office rent, designer’s wages, advertising costs and so on.

Found more on the guy here (thanks to Smemon):
It baffles me why a guy would devlop a good net reputation yet risk it all by conning me out of $250!
Get real Clark ….. either have some decency in your business or get out of it.
I hate conmen and Clarklab aka clojita aka Clark Wimberley is one in my books! ![]()
