Limerick people may not agree with the sentiment expressed in the video …. it does, however, have a tinge of truth to it! Limerick has a long way to go to rid itself of the ’stab city’ image that it has developed over the years.

Jury’s hotel and the Berkeley Court will host their last guests this weekend before the two sites are put up for sale. They will close their respective doors on Monday.
The 608 staff at the hotels have accepted a redundancy deal offered to them by management.
Both hotels were favourites with celebrities and politicians alike, and their closure will be seen as the end of an era by many.
