The Apple iPhone has been hacked to allow users in Australia to make calls on the Telstra mobile network.
The hack doesn’t allow the user to receive calls or send and receive SMS. It is the closest anyone has come to unlocking the iPhone for use outside the AT&T mobile network in the US.
The device isn’t scheduled for release in Australia until next year.
Didn’t take long for hackers to do their stuff! The iPhone, like the Harry Potter phenomenom is over rated. ![]()

Most of their business in still in cases (70% approx.) but they also do backpacks (18% approx.)
The gadget that’s taken my fancy is their USB mouse that doubles as an Internet phone. It has a built in microphone, speakerphone and headphone jack.
It works exactly like a normal three button optical mouse.
